USD #410 Computer Use Policies

Introduction:  Durham/Hillsboro/Lehigh USD 410 is committed to providing the best possible education for our students.  In the twenty-first century, we believe this includes the use of computers and other technologies that allow students to seek the information without limiting them to time and location.  With this in mind, it is important for our students to have personal access to a computer and the Internet.  Our students will be issued a school-owned laptop to use with the guidelines listed below. 

 

Durham/Hillsboro USD 410’s network facilities and/or laptops are to be used in a responsible, efficient, and ethical manner in accordance with the philosophy of USD 410.  Students must acknowledge their understanding of this policy as well as the following guidelines.  Failure to adhere to these standards may result in suspension or revocation of the offender’s laptop and/or network privileges.
